(a) Inspect servomotor operation.

(1) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 8.
(2) Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to each terminal as shown in the chart, and check that the shaft rotates to each position, as

shown in the illustration.

If operation is not as specified, replace the servomotor.

3. INSPECT A/C EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (COOLER THERMISTOR NO.1)(MANUAL AIR CONDITIONING)

HINT: The A/C evaporator temperature sensor (cooler thermistor No.1) can be removed following the disassembly procedure for the air
conditioning radiator assembly  (See: Service and Repair/Disassembly).

(a) Remove the A/C evaporator temperature sensor (cooler thermistor No.1).
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:
