Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair
Installation

3MZ-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY (See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Installation)

2. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE (See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Installation)

3. INSTALL FUEL TANK VENT TUBE SET PLATE (See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Installation)

4. CONNECT FUEL PUMP TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Installation)

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal  (See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization).

7. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK (See: Testing and Inspection)
8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Installation)

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Coupe) (See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear

Seat Assembly/Installation)

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Convertible) (See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
