Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair
Installation
TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU:
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Connect the connector and clamp to the tire pressure warning ECU.
(b) Install the tire pressure warning ECU with the nut.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL RH
3. INSTALL NO. 1 UNDER INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Coupe)
5. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Convertible)
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Coupe)
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Convertible)
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization).
9. REGISTER TRANSMITTER ID

10. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

11. INITIALIZE SYSTEM
NOTICE:

Be sure to register the transmitter IDs of all tires including the grand spare tire in the ECU before initialization.

Be sure to inflate all tires including the grand spare tire to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.
