CRANKSHAFT AND CAMSHAFT BEARINGS MODIFIED

To reduce engine noise, the crankshaft and camshaft bearings have been changed as follows:

Crankshaft Bearings

The oil groove in the lower crankshaft bearings (the bearing cap side) has been discontinued. In addition, a new locating notch has been added to
the bearing caps to index with the new bearings.

CAUTION:

Make sure not to install the lower bearing which has no oil groove at the upper side. It will cause an oil lubrication problem in the 
crankshaft journal.

The crankshaft bearing is now supplied separately so that the best pair can be selected for each crankshaft journal.
