Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Front
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove front wheel.
Torque: 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
2. Remove disc brake caliper:
a. Remove the two bolts and brake caliper from the steering knuckle.
Torque: 118 Nm (87 ft. lbs.).
b. Support the brake caliper securely.
3. Disconnect Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) speed sensor and the wire harness:
a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
