Parking Brake Lever: Adjustments
Adjusting Parking Brake
NOTE: Before adjusting the Parking Brake, make sure that the Rear Brake Shoe clearance has been adjusted. See: Service and Repair
1. Remove the upper console panel.
2. Remove the screw and Parking Brake hole cover.
3. Using a socket driver and spanner wrench, remove the adjusting lock nut.
4. Turn the adjusting nut until the lever travel is correct.
5. Install the adjusting lock nut.
6. Using a socket driver and spanner wrench, tighten the adjusting lock nut.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 inch lbs.)
7. Install the Parking Brake hole cover with the screw.
8. Install the upper console panel.
