Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove turbochargers, refer to Powertrain Management.
2. Remove the 12 exhaust manifold nuts.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold and gaskets.
INSTALLATION
1. Place two new gaskets to the cylinder head facing the protrusion as shown.
2. Install the exhaust manifold with 12 new nuts and in several passes, using the sequence shown, tighten to: 39 Nm (400 kg. cm., 29 ft. lbs.).
3. Install turbocharger, refer to Powertrain Management.
