Supra Liftback L6-2997cc 3.0L DOHC MFI Twin-Turbo (1997)
2. On models with Manual Transmissions (M/T), remove the two drive belt tensioner nuts and tensioner damper.
3. Remove drive belt, fan, fluid coupling assembly and water pump pulley.
4. Using variable pin wrench Special Service Tool (SST) No, 09960-10010 or equivalent, remove the Power Steering (PS) pump pulley nut and
pulley.
5. Remove No.3 Timing Belt Cover:
(a) Remove the oil filler cap.
(b) Using a five mm hexagon wrench, remove the ten bolts, then the cover.
6. Remove No.2 Timing Belt Cover:
(a) Using a five mm hexagon wrench, remove the three timing belt bolts, then the cover and gasket.
