Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection
Off-Vehicle
1. INSPECT INJECTOR INJECTION.
CAUTION: Keep injector clear of sparks during the test.

Connect SST 09268-41045 (90405-09015)(union and hose) to the fuel filter outlet with 2 gaskets and the union bolt.
Torque: 29 Nm (22 ft lb)

Remove the fuel pressure regulator.

Install the 0-ring to the fuel inlet of pressure regulator.

Connect SST 09268-41045 (hose) to the fuel inlet of the pressure regulator with SST 09268-41090 (union) and the 2 bolts.

Connect the fuel return hose to the fuel outlet of the pressure regulator.

Install the grommet and 0-ring to the injector.

Connect SST 09268-41045 (union and hose) to the injector, and hold the injector and union with SST (clamp).
-
Put the injector into a graduated cylinder.
