Oil Pump: Service and Repair
Oil Pump Replace
OIL PUMP REMOVAL
NOTE: The model shown is a 1993 T100. Other models are similar.
1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. (4WD) REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL
3. DRAIN ENGINE OIL
4. REMOVE TIMING BELT
5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING PULLEY
6. REMOVE OIL PAN
(a) Remove the seventeen bolts and two nuts.
(b) Using SST and a brass bar. separate the oil pan from the baffle plate. SST 09032-00100
HINT: When removing the oil pan, be careful not to damage the oil pan flange.
