Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect negative terminal cable from battery.
2. Put a suitable container under the fuel component to be serviced. place a rag or shop towel over the component. Place a suitable container under

the component to catch spilled fuel.

3. Slowly loosen the union bolt or fitting to relieve fuel pressure.

CAUTION: After affecting any repair that requires disassembly of fuel related components, inspect carefully for fuel leaks upon completion.
