Fuel Tank: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
WARNING: Do NOT attempt to weld the Fuel Tank or lines, as the fumes (even in a dry tank) are extremely flammable and could cause an
explosion.
1. Inspect Fuel Tank, lines, and connections.

Inspect the Fuel Lines for cracks or leakage, and all connections for deformations.

Inspect the Fuel Tank vapor vent system hoses and connections for looseness. sharp bends or damage.

Inspect the Fuel Tank for deformations. cracks or fuel leakage.
^
Inspect the filler neck for damage or fuel leakage.
^
Hose and tube connections are as shown in the illustration.
If a problem is found, repair or replace the parts as necessary.
