Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

1.

Remove stabilizer bar to lower suspension arms retaining nuts, cushions and retainers.

2.

Disconnect stabilizer bar.

3.

Remove stabilizer bar brackets and cushions, then the stabilizer bar.

4.

Place stabilizer bar in position, then install new cushion and brackets to frame and insert attaching bolts.

5.

Connect stabilizer bar on both sides to lower arms with attaching bolts, retainers and nuts, then torque nuts to 19 ft. lb.

6.

Torque bracket set bolts to 22 ft. lb.
