Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect throttle cable from linkage.

2.

Remove throttle cable clamp.

3.

Drain transmission fluid.

4.

Remove front stabilizer bar and front propeller shaft.

5.

Remove oil pan attaching bolts, then install tool No. 09032-00100 or equivalent, between case and oil pan and remove gasket.

6.

Disconnect solenoid electrical connectors.

7.

Disconnect throttle cable from valve body.

8.

Remove throttle cable attaching bolt, then pull from transmission case.

9.

Reverse procedure to install. Tighten oil pan and drain plug to specifications. Adjust throttle cable as previously outlined.
