To improve sliding rear window weatherstrip retention to the upper channel on 1995 Tacoma trucks, an increased amount of adhesive was added to the
weatherstrip.

FIELD FIX:
Use the following field-fix procedure if this condition is found on vehicles prior to the production effective VIN.
1.
Clean mating surfaces (weatherstrip channel and weatherstrip) with adhesive cleaner.
2.
Apply a thin coat of Loctite brand # 460 adhesive (or equivalent) to BOTH ends of the weatherstrip and to the weatherstrip channel as shown in
the illustration:

Install both ends of the weatherstrip into the weatherstrip channel and allow to dry thoroughly.
