Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
1. Disconnect connector from sender gauge.
2. Turn ignition switch to On position, then check receiver gauge needle indicates Empty.
3. Connect terminals 1 and 3 on wire harness side connector through a 3.4W test bulb, Fig. 27.

4. Turn ignition switch On, then ensure bulb lights and receiver gauge needle moves toward full side.
5. Measure resistance between terminals A, B and C, Fig. 28. Resistance should be as follows with tachometer:
