Title: DRIVELINE ENGAGEMENT NOISE - TACOMA (4WD)
To minimize driveline engagement noise when shifting into "D" or "R" position on 4WD automatic transmission models, the following changes have
been made.
1.
Washers were added to the Rear Transfer Output Shaft, between the speedometer drive gear and companion flange. The rear companion flange
was also revised to accommodate added Washers.
Changes effective - VIN 4TA******TZO86OOO (P/D 9508)
2.
Washers were added to the Intermediate Shaft between the center bearing and flange.
Change effective - VIN 4TA******TZ103100 (P/D 9510)
