Separate the front door opening trim weatherstrip by pulling on the weatherstrip.

Reassembly Procedure

Front Door Inner Weatherstrip Belt Molding and Front Door Side Glass:

HINT:
Use the same procedure for BOTH LH and RH sides.

1.

Cut EPT foam from the wind noise kit into 4 blocks in the following dimensions.

Foam Dimensions: 10 x 10 x 80 mm (0.4 x 0.4 x 3.15 in.)

2.

Attach the NEW foam blocks to the ends of the inner belt molding (between the 2 felt tabs) and allow 35 mm (1.38 in.) to over hang.

3.

Install the NEW front door inner weatherstrip belt molding (P/N 68171-04060 RH & 68172-04050 LH) to the door panel by firmly bending the 7
retaining tabs against the door trim panel.

4.

Press the forward portion of the EPT foam onto the door panel.
