Applicability

Introduction

Some 2005 - 2009 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit an instrument panel rattle or tick noise below the glove box area. The faint noise is most
evident when accelerating slowly between the 1000 - 1600 RPM range. The rattle has been found to be coming from a wire harness cover coming into
contact with the HVAC bracket. Use the following repair information to correct this condition.

Production Change Information

This TSB applies to all 2005 - 2009 model year vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,

from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.
