NOTE

Make note of the routing of the airbag straps through the seat back pad for ease of assembly.

CAUTION

The seat cover must be securely installed for proper side airbag deployment. Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the inner
hook. Install the inner hook securely.

Remove the headrest supports from the seat and remove the seat cover.

13.

Replace the seat back pad with the new service part.

14.

Reinstall the seat cover in reverse order with new hog rings.

When installing the metal rods removed in step 9 be sure that the top of the rods are positioned under the horizontal rod molded into the seat back
pad. See Illustration.

15.

Reinstall the seat assembly.

Torque:(37 N.m 27 ft.lbf)

16.

Reconnect the seat electrical connections.

17.

Reconnect the battery cable.
