Applicability
Introduction
Some 2005 - 2010 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a squeal noise from the blower motor when set to low speed during low ambient
temperatures. A newly designed blower motor has been made available to improve this condition.
Production Change Information
This TSB applies to all 2005 - 2009 and to 2010 Tacoma vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.

Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the 2 clips and the blower motor 2-pin connector as shown in Figure 1.
3. Remove the 3 bolts and remove the blower motor as shown in Figure 2.
