Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Front Seat Inner Belt (for Separate Seat Type)

REMOVAL 

CAUTION:  Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before
servicing (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag).

1. REMOVE CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the air bag from working (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag).

2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER

a. for Separate Seat Type Driver Side:

1. Remove the seat track cover.

b. for Separate Seat Type Front Passenger Side:

1. Remove the seat track cover.

c. for Separate Folding Seat Type:

1. Remove the seat track cover.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

a. for Separate Seat Type Driver Side:

1. Remove the front seat assembly.

b. for Separate Seat Type Front Passenger Side:

1. Remove the front seat assembly.

c. for Separate Folding Seat Type:

1. Remove the front seat assembly.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

a. for Separate Seat Type Driver Side:

1. Using a clip remover, remove the wire harness clamp and 2 connector clamps.
2. Remove the wire harness clamp.
3. Disconnect the seat position sensor connector.
4. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt.

b. for Separate Seat Type Front Passenger Side and Separate Folding Seat Type:

1. Disconnect the seat wire connector.
2. Using a clip remover, remove the connector clamp.
