Remove the front seat cushion cover pad and front seat cushion cover together, in order to avoid occupant classification sensor malfunctions.

1. READ IN OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU DATA
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU

a. Disconnect the connector from the the occupant classification ECU.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and the occupant classification ECU.

INSTALLATION

NOTE:

-

Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When replacing the parts, replace them with new ones.

Never reuse an occupant classification ECU involved in a collision when the airbag has deployed.

If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it
with a new one.

When installing the occupant classification ECU, make sure that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched
between other parts.

After installing, shake the occupant classification ECU to check that there is no looseness.
