Remove the propeller shaft heat shield that is attached to the # 3 frame crossmember.

Loosen and remove the bolts retaining the rear engine insulator to the # 3 frame crossmember and the rear engine insulator to the transfer case
assembly.

5.

Using the transmission jack raise the transmission/transfer case assembly slightly so as to allow the removal of the original rear engine insulator
(rear transmission mount).

6.

Install the new rear engine insulator.
