Activation Procedure

1.

Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and check that the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light blinks.

2.

Press the valve core to reduce the tire inflation pressure rapidly by 6 psi (0.4 kgf/cm sq, 40 kPa) or more within 30 seconds. If the tire inflation
pressure is NOT reduced by 6 psi (0.4 kgf/cm sq, 40 kPa) or more within 30 seconds, the tire pressure sensing transmitters will NOT be activated.

This operation is required for the system to be activated and must be performed for each tire (including the spare tire), one at a time.

Check that the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light goes OFF after all the tire pressure sensing transmitters are activated.

NOTE:

After all tire pressure sensing transmitters are activated, the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light will come on whenever the tire pressure in any
of the tires falls below 24 - 27 psi (1.65 - 1.9 kgf/cm sq, 165 - 185 kPa).
