2. Move the hood and adjust the clearance between the hood and front fender. Make sure that the clearance is within the standard range.

Standard (A): 4.4 ± 1.5 mm (0.173 ± 0.059 in.)

3. Tighten the hood side hinge bolts after the adjustment.

Torque: 30 N.m (306 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf)

b. Adjust the cushion rubber so that the heights of the hood and the fender are aligned.

1. Raise or lower the hood front end by turning the cushion rubber. Make sure that the clearance is within the standard range.

HINT:  Raise or lower the cushion rubber by turning it.

c. Adjust the hood lock.
