Parking Brake Control Lever Assembly

COMPONENTS

REPLACEMENT

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST
4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER
6. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER NO.1
8. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY

a. Release the parking brake lever.

b. Remove the clip and pin and separate the sleeve.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and parking brake lever assembly.

9. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY

a. Install the parking brake lever assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 inch lbs.) 

b. Install the sleeve with the pin and clip.
