2. VERIFY THE REPAIR

(Test # 1)

(a) Move the bench seat to the rearmost position.

(b) Buckle the driver's seat belt.

(c) Confirm that the scan tool displays the data shown below and in the illustration.

"D SEAT POSITIOBKWARD"
(Driver's seat is in the backward position).

"D BUCKLE SW SET"

(Driver's seat belt buckle switch is set/buckled).

(Test # 2)

(a) Leave the bench seat in the rearmost position.

(b) Unbuckle the driver's seat belt.

(c) Confirm that the scan tool displays the data shown below and in the illustration.
