(Driver's seat belt buckle switch is unset/unbuckled).

(Test # 3)

(a) Move the bench seat to the foremost position.

(b) Leave the driver's seat belt unbuckled.

(c) Confirm that the scan tool displays the data shown below and in the illustration.

"D SEAT POSITIFORWARD"

(Driver's seat is in the forward position).

"D BUCKLE SW UNSET"
(Driver's seat belt buckle switch is unset/unbuckled).

(Test # 4)

(a) Leave the bench seat in the foremost position.

(b) Buckle the driver's seat belt.
