Lights On Warning: Testing and Inspection
Headlight And Taillight System
Light-ON Warning System
HINT: The tables will be useful for you in troubleshooting these electrical problems. The most likely causes of the malfunction are shown in the order
of their probability. Inspect each part in the order shown, and replace the part when it is found to be faulty.
Light-On Warning System: INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY OPERATION
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 12 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 7.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5.
c. Check that the buzzer does not sound when terminal 4 or 5 is connected to the positive (+) lead.
d. Check that the buzzer does not sound when disconnecting terminal 4 or 5.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
