Crankshaft: Testing and Inspection
Inspection For Runout
1. Place the crankshaft on V - blocks.
2. Using a dial indicator, measure the circle runout at the No. 2 and No. 3 journal.
Maximum circle runout: 0.06 mm (0.0024 inch)
If the circle runout is greater than maximum, replace the crankshaft.
