CONDITION: The headrests emit a rattle noise over bumps.
CAUSE:
Rattle noise is caused by clearance between the headrest stay and the headrest support, or between the headrest support and the support
bracket. See illustration.
PRODUCTION CHANGES:
To reduct operating clearance between affected components, the following production changes have been made:
1) The curvature of the headrest stays have been increased starting with April, '90 production.
2) Ribs have been added to the headrest support from October, '90 production.
3) The diameter of the headrest support bracket have been reduced starting with November, '90 production.
