Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation

1.

Disarm airbag system, refer to Air bag Arming & Disarming Procedures.

2.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

3.

Remove horn button screws and horn button.

4.

Scribe alignment marks on steering wheel and steering shaft.

5.

Remove steering wheel nut.

6.

Using a steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel.

7.

Remove steering column upper and lower covers.

8.

Disconnect combination switch harness.

9.

On models equipped with airbag, disconnect spiral cable connector.

10.

Remove combination switch.

11.

Reverse procedure to install.

12.

Rearm airbag system, refer to Air bag Arming & Disarming Procedures.
