1. Check the turning smoothness of the timing belt idler pulleys.
If necessary, replace the idler pulley.
INSPECT TENSION SPRING
1. Measure the free length of the spring.
Free length: 38.4 mm (1.512 in.)
If the free length is not as specified, replace the tension spring.
2. Measure the tension of the spring at the specified installed length.
Installed tension: 5.11 kg (11.3 lb, 50 N) at 51.5 mm (2.028 in.)
If the installed tension is not as specified, replace the tension spring.
