(b) Install a new exhaust gasket (supplied in the IRD Dual Exhaust System kit) between the right side tailpipe and the right side outlet flange.

(c) Reinstall the right side tailpipe to the right side outlet flange using 2 new bolts and 2 new nuts (supplied in the TRD Dual Exhaust System kit),

hand-tighten these fasteners only.

NOTE:

Hand-tighten these fasteners only, as clearance adjustments may need to be performed.

4. CHECK THE RIGHT SIDE TAILPIPE CLEARANCE

(a) Check the clearance between the top of the right side tailpipe tip and the bottom edge of the truck bed, as shown in the illustration.

Clearance: 25 mm +/- 5 mm

(b) If the clearance is out of specification, adjust the right side tailpipe at the right side outlet flange.

(c) Torque the tailpipe fasteners to specification.
