Steering Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

POWER STEERING: POWER STEERING ECU (for 1UR-FE): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the power steering ECU with the nut.

Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the power steering ECU connector.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (for Column Shift Type)/Installation

3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Driver Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Installation

4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard

/ Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (for Column Shift Type)/Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (for Column Shift Type)/Installation
