Seat Heater: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH CONTINUITY

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER INDICATOR LIGHT OPERATION

(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.
(b) Push the seat heater switch on the HI position and check that the HI indicator light turns on.
(c) Push the seat heater switch on the LO position and check that the LO indicator light turns on.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
