Introduction

The current Tundra Double Cab bedliner tailgate panel (P/N PT271-34040-TC) may warp/distort at elevated temperatures. A revised bedliner tailgate
panel (P/N PT271-34041-TC) is available to resolve this issue. Updated installation instructions were issued via Toyota Information System (TIS) in
May 2004 reflecting this change.

Applicable Vehicles

2004 model year Tundra Double Cab vehicles.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

A.4. Fasten tailgate cover to truck tailgate using previously removed hardware with a T-30 Torx head screwdriver.
