Cargo Lamp Switch: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING: CARGO LIGHT SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT CARGO LIGHT SWITCH

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

(c) Inspect the switch illumination.

(1) Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (ILL-).

(2) Check that the door courtesy light comes on.

OK:

Light comes on.

(3) If the result is not as specified, replace the light switch.
