Key Cylinder Lamp: Service and Repair
Removal
LIGHTING: IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning
2. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches - Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper
Switch/Service and Repair/Removal
3. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches - Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper
Switch/Service and Repair/Removal
4. REMOVE IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT
(a) Disconnect the unlock warning switch connector.
(b) Detach the 2 claws.
(c) Disconnect the connector and remove the key cylinder light.
