Turn Signal Flasher: Service and Repair
Removal

LIGHTING: TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Double Cab, CrewMax)   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service

and Repair/Roof Headlining (For Regular Cab)/Removal

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof Headlining (For

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (for Column Shift Type)/Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard

/ Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (for Column Shift Type)/Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Driver Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Removal

8. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the nut and flasher.
