Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

1UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream main switch ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / ALL Date / Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

(e) Read the value displayed on the tester.

Standard Voltage:

Accel Sensor Out No. 1

Accel Sensor Out No. 2

(f) If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal rod, wire harness or ECM.
