WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Rear Door): REMOVAL

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear
Door (for Double Cab)/Disassembly.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear
Door (for CrewMax)/Disassembly.

3. REMOVE REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear upper door armrest base panel LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear
Door (for Double Cab)/Disassembly.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear upper door armrest base panel LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear
Door (for CrewMax)/Disassembly.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door frame garnish LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear Door (for
Double Cab)/Disassembly.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door frame garnish LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear Door (for
CrewMax)/Disassembly.

5. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the courtesy light assembly    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear Door (for
Double Cab)/Disassembly.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the courtesy light assembly    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear Door (for
CrewMax)/Disassembly.

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH    See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Rear
Door (for Double Cab)/Disassembly.
