Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH

a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table given.

If the result is not as specified, replace the warning switch.

b. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2.
c. Check that the light comes on.

OK:
Light comes on
If the result is not as specified, replace the warning switch.
