Seat Occupant Sensor: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
With Manufacturer Scan Tool
CLEAR DTC
a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON.
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:
1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / OCCUPANT DETECTION / DTC INFO
2. Techstream - Select: Body / Occupant Detection / Trouble Codes
e. Erase the DTCs.
Without Scan Tool
TOYOTA does not provide a procedure for Clearing Trouble Codes Without Scan
Tool.
With Manufacturer's Scan Tool
CHECK DTC

When DTC B1650/23 is detected as a result of troubleshooting the airbag system, troubleshoot the occupant classification system.

Use the intelligent tester or Techstream to read and clear DTCs, otherwise the DTCs cannot be read and cleared.
