(a)
Using a chisel and hammer, pry the flange of the bush outward.
(b) Using SST, remove the bush.

3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPRING BUMPER LH
(a)
Remove the No. 1 spring bumper from the vehicle.
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM LOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a)
As shown in the illustration, move the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times before installing the nut.
(b) Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the fifth turn.
Standard turning torque: 3.0 to 10.0 Nm (31 to 102 kgf-cm, 27 to 89 inch lbs.)
(c)
Check for any cracks and grease leaks on the ball joint dust cover.
