COOLANT OVERFLOW RESERVOIR MODIFICATION

Introduction

Some 2000 model year V8/V6 Tundra vehicles may experience a slight coolant leak from the coolant overflow reservoir vent under rough driving
conditions. A modified overflow reservoir design has been developed to prevent this condition.

Applicable Vehicles

All 2000 model year Tundra vehicles produced before the VIN below.

Replace the Overflow Reservoir Assembly with the modified part.

Warranty Information

Applicable warranty *

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the
vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
