Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT 2WD <--> 4HI SHIFT

a. Ignition switch ON.
b. Check that the 4HI indicator lights come on when the touch select 2-4 switch is in ON position.
c. Check that the 4HI indicator lights go off when the touch select 2-4 switch is in OFF position.

HINT:

If the light does not light up, even though the switch has been turned ON, the vehicle should be moved back and forth.

If switching is not completed after 3 seconds of shift operation, the 4HI indicator light will flash.
