Installing The Air Intake Plenum Grounding Strap

11. Install the air intake plenum bracket.
12. Reconnect the lines and hoses disconnected in step 8 of the removal procedure.
13. Using a new gasket, install the EGR valve with the two mounting nuts.

Removing The EGR Valve

14. Install the EGR union nut to the exhaust manifold.
15. Reconnect, in reverse order, the hoses and connectors that were disconnected in step 6 of the removal procedure.
16. Install the air cleaner hose.
17. Connect the accelerator cable and adjust, for the proper procedure refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
18. Connect the throttle cable and adjust, for the proper procedure refer to TRANSMISSIONS CLUTCHES DIFFERENTIALS AXLES AND

DRIVE SHAFTS.

19. Connect the negative battery cable.
20. Fill the cooling system with coolant.
21. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
