1.

Refer to STABILIZER BAR, and remove stabilizer bar.

2.

Remove stabilizer bar bracket from lower control arm, Fig. 3.

Place suitable alignment marks on strut bar.

4.

Remove rear nut from strut bar.

5.

Remove nuts holding strut bar to lower control arm and remove strut bar.

6.

Install strut bar front nut and position according to alignment marks made in step 3. If using new bar position nut 13.07 inches (332mm) from inner
hole at opposite end of strut bar.

7.

Place washer and bushing on strut bar and position bar in bracket.

8.

Place collar, bushing and washer on strut bar and finger tighten rear nut.

9.

Connect strut bar to lower control arm and torque bolts to specification.

10.

Lower vehicle allowing vehicle weight to rest on tires. Bounce vehicle to settle suspension, then torque rear nut to specification.

11.

Install stabilizer bar and check front wheel alignment.
